Obviously we prefer candidates to work hard, but at this stage we are keen to get candidates into all wards, so we accept people who have little time. We have some fabulous leafleters in Weybridge. What we need are candidates.

Campaign Methods

We are developing methods of campaigning which are making our campaigns more productive and more fun.

I myself got 25% of the vote in Englefield Green in May 2007 and one of our first time candidates got 20% in Chertsey South and Rowtown. OK, it's partly luck and it's partly that UKIP's message is highly acceptable on the doorsteps. It's only partly down to our charm and skill in campaigning!
